Samsung Electronics announced on the 12th that its Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator and Movingstyle, a portable screen, were selected as award winners in Forbes’ 2026 Smart Home Awards. The selections were made by Forbes Vetted, a product review outlet operated by Forbes.
The 2026 Smart Home Awards were launched this year for the first time. Forbes Vetted selected and announced 50 winning products across seven categories, including kitchen, appliances, cleaning, home office and home entertainment.
Among Samsung Electronics’ products, Bespoke AI Family Hub was selected as the only refrigerator among the winners. Movingstyle was selected in the home office category. Samsung Electronics said experts in each field used and evaluated hundreds of products in real-life spaces over seven months.
Samsung Electronics said Family Hub was included in the list of winners announced in September, with related evaluation comments cited as the reason. Forbes Vetted highlighted the storage design, water dispenser and Beverage Center with a built-in auto-refill water pitcher as strengths of Family Hub. It also evaluated the 32-inch front display’s calendar, web browser, weather, photo gallery and music features.
Family Hub’s internal camera-based food-checking and management functions were also introduced. While shopping, users can check the ingredients stored in the refrigerator through Samsung’s mobile app. According to Samsung Electronics, a product test evaluator described Family Hub as a product that turns the kitchen into the home’s control center.
Movingstyle was recognized for its ability to combine work and content viewing through height adjustment and vertical rotation of the screen. According to Samsung Electronics, technology analyst Avi Greengart said Movingstyle is adjustable in height and features a rotation function for watching short-form and vertical videos, and that it is a display suited to environments that serve as both work and leisure spaces.
Movingstyle combines a Samsung smart monitor with a mobile stand, allowing users to access content such as OTT services over an internet connection without a separate PC, and to watch live channels and on-demand content through Samsung TV Plus. Samsung Electronics said Forbes Vetted cited Movingstyle’s content consumption method and its price of less than USD 900 as evaluation factors.
Family Hub was also named Best Overall in Forbes Vetted’s May 2026 The Best Refrigerators ranking, and Best Overall in Forbes Vetted’s October 2025 The Best Smart Refrigerators ranking. Movingstyle was named the Best 4K Wheel Stand Monitor in PC Magazine’s August 2026 Best 4K Monitor review.
