Samsung Electronics Gains Attention in U.S. Smart Home Evaluation ... Bespoke AI Family Hub and Movingstyle Win Awards

Forbes Vetted, Forbes’ product review outlet in the United States, was launched in 2020 and this year created the '2026 Smart Home Awards' for the first time. The awards were run by selecting 50 innovative products across 7 categories, including kitchen and appliances, cleaning, home office, and home entertainment, based on how they improve convenience and efficiency in everyday life.

Judging was conducted over 7 months in real-life spaces, with experts in each category directly testing and verifying hundreds of products. As a result, 2 Samsung Electronics products were listed among the award winners on the 12th: the 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' refrigerator and the movable-screen 'Movingstyle.'

Among them, the Bespoke AI Family Hub was introduced first in the list of winning products. In addition, only 1 refrigerator was selected among the 50 winning products overall, and Samsung Electronics' Bespoke AI Family Hub was the sole refrigerator chosen in that category.

Forbes Vetted praised the Family Hub for its organized storage structure and also highly rated the 'Beverage Center,' which comes with a water dispenser and an auto-fill water pitcher. The Family Hub has a 32-inch screen on the front of the refrigerator, and the screen provides calendar, web browser, weather, photo gallery, and music functions. Forbes Vetted also highly valued the front 32-inch screen's range of features.

The product tester said the Family Hub turns the kitchen into the control center of the home. The tester also focused on the function that checks and manages ingredients using the refrigerator's internal camera. Consumers can check the ingredients inside the refrigerator through Samsung's mobile app while grocery shopping, which helps with purchase planning and ingredient management.

The Family Hub has also performed well in previous Forbes Vetted refrigerator reviews. In the 'The Best Refrigerators' evaluation in May this year, it was selected as Best Overall. It was also selected as Best Overall in last October's 'The Best Smart Refrigerators' evaluation.

Samsung Electronics' movable screen, Movingstyle, was selected as an award winner in the home office category. The basis for the selection was its height-adjustment function and screen-rotation feature. Based on these features, it was also noted that Movingstyle can cover not only work environments but also video content viewing and a range of leisure activities.

Avi Greengart, who participated in the award judging, also said Movingstyle has a height-adjustment function and supports a rotation feature for short-form and vertical video viewing. Based on these characteristics, he viewed Movingstyle as an ideal display that can be used for both work and leisure spaces.

Movingstyle was also presented as having convenience in content use as an advantage. Users can stream content directly on the monitor, and through Samsung TV Plus they can watch live channels and on-demand content. Accordingly, it was explained that its use extends beyond work.

A review published by PCMag last August, titled '2026 Best 4K Monitors,' was also mentioned. In that evaluation, Movingstyle was selected as the 'Best 4K Rolling Stand Monitor.'

With these awards, Samsung Electronics was recognized for convenience and versatility, and the product categories acknowledged included kitchen appliances and movable displays. As the role of appliances and displays in everyday spaces expands, Family Hub was recognized as a product that realizes a smart kitchen, while Movingstyle was recognized as a product that realizes a flexible work and entertainment environment.
