[AI Brief] Liner Launches “Actions MCP,” Enabling Connections to 1,100+ Tools With a Single Link

Liner announced on the 29th that it had launched "Liner Actions MCP."

"Liner Actions MCP" is a tool-integration connection solution and integrated linking service for AI agents. It is a service designed to make it easier for AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT to use multiple external apps.

With a single connection, the solution can be used with more than 1,100 external apps. Users can link and use apps such as Calendar, Slack, and Notion through natural-language commands.

The company said it developed the solution to reduce the inconvenience of users having to find and connect many tools one by one, as well as the inefficiency of individually discovering and connecting multiple tools.

Users can simply follow the guide on the Liner Actions website, and when using a specific service for the first time, they must log in to that service account through the agent-guided connection link. Once they log in to the service account, the connection is complete.

The key feature of this solution is connection stability. The company explained that some existing integration services claimed to provide multiple tools but had cases where certain functions did not work in actual use. Liner, by contrast, said it has called approximately 1,100 provided tools across various environments and verified whether the 1,100-plus tools operate normally. As a result, users can immediately put the connected tools to work, Liner said.

The usage method is based on natural language. If a user asks Slack to organize the content discussed this week in a marketing channel into Notion, the agent understands the context, searches for and connects the necessary MCP, collects the information, and carries out the request. Liner said this makes it possible to organize GitHub issues, share meeting notes, and handle work that moves across multiple tools.

PCN announced on the 29th that it is participating in the research project "Development and Demonstration of an AI Policy Simulation Platform Technology Based on XOps to Solve Social Problems in Population Decline Regions," which is aimed at supporting solutions to local social issues caused by population decline.

The project is being pursued as a research task of the Ministry of Science and ICT, and this year it is moving ahead with the development of core third-year functions.

Since the first year, 2024, PCN has been designing DataOps-based data lifecycle management technology. The first-year design scope included profiling structured and unstructured data from multiple institutions and device types, as well as DataOps architecture for data collection, cleansing, and preprocessing.

In the first year, it also designed automated data pipelines considering data integration and virtualization, and designed a metadata-standard-based data catalog and virtualization architecture. In addition, it designed an MLOps architecture and model pipeline for continuous AI model deployment, and detailed the model deployment automation workflow and training data version management process.

This year, it completed implementation of a multi-device data management screen using metadata. Going forward, it plans to develop metadata search functions and SQL execution functions, and to support data exploration and utilization through metadata search and SQL execution. It will also proceed with testing API processing functions using the Data API builder and develop core backend functions for providing REST responses. These developments will lead toward strengthening an integrated management foundation for connecting a unified utilization flow for distributed data across multiple institutions and systems.

Separately, PCN completed the design of a screen that makes it easier to solve social problems. The spatial information display function is under development. The simulation was designed for reviewing policy alternatives based on analysis results such as regional population changes, facilities, and living conditions. In its R&D materials, it is reviewing a demonstration scenario for Namwon City's problems of insufficient income and jobs, and is also reviewing a demonstration scenario for support related to settlement conditions in Shinan County.

Buzzni is launching support for creating AI short-form content for companies participating in "KES 2026."

Buzzni said on the 29th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Electronics Association (KEA) to support the creation of marketing content for KES 2026 participating companies.

Under the agreement, Buzzni will provide the AI short-form content creation solution "Biscuit AI" to KES 2026 participating companies.

Buzzni will also provide solution usage guides and onboarding support. The support is intended to ease the burden of creating exhibition and marketing content.

As a result, participating companies will be able to produce short-form content for booth introductions or product promotion without separate video production capabilities.

Biscuit AI is a service that supports the automatic production of polished short-form videos through AI-based key scene analysis using product images and short videos, and it requires no separate editing experience, making it easy for anyone to use. Buzzni said it is difficult for exhibition participants to separately produce marketing content within a short preparation period, and that this is what gives the agreement its significance.
