Allta Auto Plan Unveils AI Vehicle Recommendation Platform 'Alltaplan AI'

Allta Auto Plan announced and unveiled its AI-based vehicle recommendation platform, "Alltaplan AI," on the 28th. The company launched the platform to help users who are unfamiliar with technical terms or specifications easily set their own criteria when choosing a vehicle and financial products. "Alltaplan AI" offers recommendations for new cars and financing terms tailored to the user's driving environment and vehicle use.

The service is designed so users can enter everyday language without having to know automotive specifications or financial jargon. Example prompts include "a small electric car that's easy to park," "an SUV suitable for long-distance commuting," and "a 9-seat family car for a large family." The platform combines a natural-language conversational interface and, after analyzing the intent of the user's request, suggests candidate vehicles and recommends related vehicle and financing terms based on vehicle size, fuel efficiency, number of passengers, and driving purpose.

The platform also combines a feature for comparing terms by financial company. It provides one-stop support from vehicle selection to checking estimates for long-term rental and lease. As a result, understanding the user's intent based on natural-language input, presenting candidate vehicles, comparing financial company terms, and checking long-term rental and lease estimates are all connected in a single flow.

The company said it has created a structure that goes beyond vehicle recommendations to also provide comparisons of long-term rental and lease terms and present tailored estimates based on user conditions. After recommending a vehicle, it compares long-term rental and lease terms, and the comparison items include each financial company's monthly rental fee, residual value, deductible, and the method for calculating acquisition and registration taxes. Allta Auto Plan's focus is on a data-driven linkage between vehicle recommendations and financial-term comparisons.

This reflects the company's recognition of problems in the existing long-term rental and lease market, where sales representatives' judgments and information gaps have existed. Consumers have long faced difficulties in directly comparing multiple terms. The company said it aims to reduce information asymmetry in the decision-making process through this service.

The criteria for segmenting recommendation items are based on the purpose of use. The categories are divided into low-maintenance vehicles for first-job consumers, hybrid vehicles for work and business owners, electric vehicles, family cars and leisure vehicles, and premium sedans. Accordingly, the platform presents options tailored to the user's driving environment and purpose.

Allta Auto Plan links its AI recommendation features with its existing long-term rental and lease consultation system. After a contract is signed, it plans to provide after-sales support such as vehicle return, purchase, extension, and accident handling.

Um Jun-oh, CEO of Allta Auto Plan, said that choosing a vehicle alone is not enough and that financial planning that reflects a customer's asset situation and driving environment is also important. He added that the company plans to combine AI-based recommendations with financial-term comparisons so customers can objectively compare vehicle and contract terms.
