PC Direct announced that it will hold Colorful's AI image contest, "AI-Drawn Chuseok," in celebration of Chuseok. The event will run through October 7, and anyone residing in South Korea is eligible to participate.
The contest focuses on Colorful iGame graphics cards and motherboards. Participants can choose one mission from four style-mission-based series and use AI tools to create and submit product-themed images that match each series' characteristics, based on Colorful iGame products.
The series are ADVANCED, VULCAN, NEPTUNE, and ULTRA. The direction of expression should reflect each series' characteristics, with examples including outer space and energy, cyberpunk, the underwater world, and street culture. The format is free, including photorealistic images, illustrations, animations, 3D, and collages, and there is no limit on the number of entries per person.
Applicants must download product images from the official event page, create a work using any AI tool they want, and post the work along with a brief introduction on Instagram or Facebook. The post must be set to public, identify the work as AI-generated, and include the required hashtags #iGame and #COLORFULAI. Registration is completed only after submitting the entry form on the official event page.
Submissions must be either landscape 16:9 (1920×1080 pixels) or portrait 9:16 (1080×1920 pixels). The work may creatively reinterpret the product, but it must preserve the product's core frame shape and the unique design of the corresponding series.
Prizes will be awarded to 35 winners in total. Among them, the "Chuseok Gift Set" will be given to 1 person as an iGame X870E VULCAN W OC V14 motherboard plus AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor set.
In addition, the "Full Moon Gift Set" will be given to 1 person as an iGame GeForce RTX 5060 ULTRA OC 8GB graphics card, while the "Surprise Gift" will go to 3 people as a Steam KRW 50,000 gift card.
Separately from the existing prize winners, 30 additional winners will be selected by lottery from eligible entries excluding the prize winners above, and they will receive a Naver Pay KRW 5,000 voucher as the raffle prize.
The deadline for submissions is October 7 at 11:59 p.m., and the winners are scheduled to be announced on October 16.
