[AI Brief] Google Cloud Rolls Out Google Workspace Across SK Rent-a-Car

Google Cloud has converted SK Rent-a-Car's existing VDI-centered work system into a Google Workspace-based environment, advancing an AI-driven transformation of the company's overall work environment. The transition also included building a generative AI-based cloud work environment through SK Rent-a-Car's companywide adoption of Google Workspace.

Gemini was used in document writing, meeting summaries and data analysis, helping support work automation. On the 15th, Google Cloud announced SK Rent-a-Car's companywide adoption of Google Workspace and the establishment of a generative AI-based cloud work environment.

SK Rent-a-Car has adopted Google Workspace across the company. To maintain a high level of security while quickly applying the latest AI technology and building a flexible work environment, the company shifted from its existing VDI-centered work setup to a cloud-based local PC environment.

In the process, SK Rent-a-Car applied Google Cloud's security and compliance features to safely protect key data while securing fast processing speeds and work convenience. As a result, employees can now use Google Workspace's collaboration and productivity tools, and perform email, document writing, data analysis, video conferencing and schedule management tasks.

Work locations have also expanded beyond headquarters to various office spaces, and Gemini models integrated into Google Workspace can now be used at all times across work operations. Ruth Sun, president of Google Cloud Korea, said the key to implementing AI innovation lies in creating an environment where employees can naturally use AI in their actual work, and explained that SK Rent-a-Car's companywide adoption of Google Workspace is a representative example of a fundamental transformation in the work environment through AI.

NewnAI said on the 15th that it has established a North American subsidiary in New Jersey, U.S., to expand its overseas business for its beauty-specialized ontology AI analytics platform, "BiuSense." The North American unit is a 100% subsidiary.

The establishment is a move to fully step up efforts to target the global beauty AI market. NewnAI will pursue its business strategy by using beauty-specific AI based on local social and e-commerce data analysis.

The company plans to strengthen its localization strategy by leveraging New Jersey's proximity to New York, its rich industrial infrastructure and excellent accessibility. It will also use local partnerships based on the New York University Stern affiliated network and the New York-based "Global AI Frontier Lab."

Based on this, NewnAI will first move to secure customers in North America. It then plans to expand its business into Japan and Europe.

NewnAI has customer references and also possesses accumulated beauty AI analysis capabilities. The company has completed development of "BiuSense" and has now begun its full-scale push into global markets based on it.

InfoSiz said on the 15th that it is refining a roadmap for expanding the BiuSense business and plans to begin by securing initial customers in the U.S. through its New Jersey subsidiary. It then aims to sequentially expand sales hubs to major bases in the West, South and Midwest, with the goal of building a nationwide sales network in the U.S.

InfoSiz plans to continue expanding global data coverage and enhance its analytics capabilities. Based on this, it plans to gradually expand its business model to Japan, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Amid this business expansion trend, InfoSiz announced that it has brought in Park Joon, former vice president at SK Telecom, as chief business officer (CBO). The person in the photo is Park Joon, InfoSiz's chief business officer (CBO).

InfoSiz explained that it recruited the CBO to make a full-scale expansion into the enterprise AI business based on its ontology and graph DB technologies and experience with industry projects. It also plans to expand enterprise AI businesses in semiconductors, energy, manufacturing and finance and accelerate customer acquisition.

Park Joon, CBO, has spent about 20 years developing and commercializing technologies in cloud, digital platform and AI fields. He also has experience leading digital transformation projects for large companies.

Park CBO oversees InfoSiz's overall business strategy. He plans to expand enterprise AI implementation projects centered on semiconductors, energy, manufacturing and finance.

Park CBO plans to connect InfoSiz's products and solutions with industry-specific customer problems. He also plans to focus on expanding major customers and strategic partnerships.

Park Joon, CBO at InfoSiz, said the company can convert unstructured data such as text, images, video, drawings and transcripts into structured knowledge graphs. He said the company plans to use that capability to help enterprise clients solve a wide range of challenges and support growth.

The data scope used by Valley AI includes financial statements, market prices, valuation, disclosures and economic indicators. Neurfusion developed Valley AI's AI agent functions. The goal is to streamline the entire investment research process, including data exploration and aggregation, market monitoring and analysis results management.

The launch target is the "Investment Research AI Agent." The agent consists of conversational research "Chat," automated research "Workflow" and interactive reports "Research Desk." Neurfusion plans to build a marketplace in the future where queries, workflows and Research Desk can be shared and reused among users. The aim is to expand the financial research ecosystem.
